HELP!!!! idle problem

HELP!!!! idle problem Just installed a MSD opti on a 94 z28 and it started up and ran perfect for 2days. Now if you rev it as soon as it starts and keep the throttle cracked bring the rpms down slowly its fine until 800rpm and then it stalls. Re start and it has check engine light on with the fans but will run and idle perfect! as long as you keep it above 800 no light comes on but if you let it try to stall and crack the throttle to keep it runnung the light comes on but it will idle fine. I started it and kept the throttle open and unplugged the iac then closed the throttle, only dropped to 1000rpm with no iac so I held the brake and put the car in drive and as soon as the rpms got to 800 it stalled again so I know the iac is good. Going to have it scanned monday to see what the code is but im hoping somone has an idea before then?
