Default Ls1 fuel tank in Lt1

Just recently put a ls1 fuel tank in my 1994 camaro, but Im having trouble finding information on the fuel sending unit, from what ive read the lt1 uses a 0-90ohm resistor and the ls1 uses a 40-270 resistor I think? and Ive read a couple things about people puting a resistor on the ls1 sending unit and I havent found any good explanations on how to do it or any good pictures.

Did you put in the fuel tank for weight savings?

Isn't the LSx fuel tanks plastic and LTx is metal?

Well im not doing it for weight savings, I just got it from a buddy who already had a bung put in it for using a in line fuel pump and he switched to a nasty nate fuel cell. Im just trying to figure out how to get this fuel sending unit to work

Glad you aren't doing it for weight savings. Its only 3 pounds for what sounds like a head ache haha.

I don't think the fuel sender ties into the PCM at all. Is it possible to just swap the gauge in the cluster?
