Car cover recommendations
Car cover recommendations I need to get a car cover for my 94z but not too sure whats best to go with. I was goin to just grab one from pepboys for like 90-100 but looking on other websites they have some for 50$ more that claim their super weather resistant. The main reason i need a good one is there's a tree right over my driveway and the car gets covered in bird poop,pollen, and other tree related stuff when i don't drive it for a few days or so. Id rather not park on the street b/c kids ride up and down the road on bikes. I don't mind spending 200 on a cover that's well worth it but if there's one that's cheaper that protects just as good ill go for it lol.
My Uncle bought me a RainX brand cover from walmart, it's some silvery material. It fits nice and has two eyelets for a bungee or cable lock. I use it in the garage for winter storage but I think it would work good outside too.
If you have the money/time go with a custom fit cover like CCC or equivalent. I was on a time crunch and bought the most expensive one at Pep Boys. The fit is surprisingly excellent. It came with a lock, nylon straps with clips, carrying case and the BEST feature was the entire inside of the cover was fleece. Really soft and does not leave fine scratches on paint finish. I managed to tear a bit of the cover on accident when I pulled too hard and did not notice it was caught up on something. But it was $90 IIRC with a $20 mail-in-rebate. More than satisfied.
