Default HELP, car wont start

We have a 96 z28 that wont start. Car was bought with mods and issues, mods list is long tubes kand n true duels big cam and a stall supposedly 355 unsure of what the cam specs are. Parts that have been replaced relucter wheel, crank sensor, opti, timing chain(timing chain had some slack in it) car did run hard starting would randomly die, would backfire through the exhaust and intake, had fuel fuel in the oil changed the oil and injectors and fuel pressure regulator. After all that it still wont start! Car has spark, injector pulse and fuel pressure. Did check compression in a cylinder had 170 pounds, going to check the rest of the compression tomorrow. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

did you ever get it to actually start since ive been up there or is it still a no start? I kind of wonder if your new opti isnt on right. The fact that you have gas in the oil is probably from a bad tune or bad piston rings.
isn't 170 a little low?

I'll just add to a Nebraska thread by saying whats up!

Oh and are you sure the opti was put on correctly? And what fuel pressure are you seeing?

the opti is on right I had it running for a lil bit fuel pressure is about 60 pounds but it does seem to bleed out fairly fast

60 psi is WAY to high... more like upper 30's- mid 40's psi
if the pressure is bleeding out really fast then your regulator is shot.

*copy/paste from cz28.com-Injuneer
Stock fuel pressure without the vacuum line should be 43.5psi. Factory specs are 41-47psi.

Pull a couple plugs and check their condition. See if they're soaked in gas. If you want pm your number to make things faster.
