I spent the weekend installing my Wolfe 6 point roll bar. I bought it from a board member a few months back for a steal of a deal. It had been sitting outside for a while, and had some rust. I sandblasted it and it was good to go.
When I pulled my interior apart, I found some rust on the floor, and some evidence of the car being hit from a previous owner, so this may turn into more of a build thread. I will update as I do things. And yes, the car will be painted back white before I am done.

Did some more work today. I yanked the dash, removed the HVAC stuff. A few months back I pulled the AC, cut the box out of the engine bay, and kept heat. Now it is all coming out, but I am going to mount a heater in the car, with vents, but will not be using the factory stuff. I also began grinding out more rust, and removed a good amount of seam sealer because I found rust behind some of it when I was putting the roll bar in.

Did some more work this week. Ground all of the rust out of the backside of the floor with a various combination of wire wheels, welded in patch panels where the floor had rusted through, and where I had my nitrous mount years ago on the rear hump. Then the back half of the floor got the first coat of primer yesterday. I also found a crack in the floor behind the pedals that goes right into the engine bay behind the drivers side header. All of the welds in the patch panels are very ugly haha, my dad let me borrow his crappy flux core for welding them in. It sure doesn't weld pretty, but it gets the job done. The roll bar was NOT welded in with flux core however.

Got the first coat of white on today. If anybody is wondering why I am only painting half of the floor, it was already stripped to bare metal in a few places, and it is supposed to rain next week. I didn't want to take te chance of the humidity causing surface rust, and having to grind it again. The front side of the floor will be done once I finish painting the rear section.
