Default how many miles

How many miles will a well built, well maintained 355 LT1 last? im talking stock rods and crank with J.E pistons. revving to 7k once in a blue moon. I want it to be my daily driver, weekend warrior, and run a few passes down the strip.

You really can't put a definitive answer on the longevity of any mechanical item... especially an engine that will occasionally get pushed to it's limits. Anything can happen to even the most expensive and well built engine.

Depends on the builder. Any machine can fail at any given time. If done right will last the same as a factory motor. Will need new valve springs later in its life as being reved to 7k will not be forgiving. But if done right will be the same as a stock motor. Ive seen lt1's nvr leak from the manifold then some leak after 8k's
