What Next? Bored with the LT1 and need to upgrade the rest of stock components. Looking to go LE2 eventually but what would be best to buy before having the head work done to better prepare the motor? Mods in sig.

Very good foundation, especially to support a cam. Get a cam that you like there is a very good thread on here somewhere that goes into good detail on the common cams for the LT1. Make sure you do the rest (at least) most of the valve train with it, and you probably will have to retune the computer, but looking at your mods im shocked you don't have a cam yet!

haha i wish i had a cam, but i plan on a LE2 heads+cam setup all at once. I was just curious if and what else should be updated to support the LE2 setup. On a college budget and sometimes car parts are more important then beer and pizza!
Bigger stall, long tubes, money for something better than a 10 bolt. I just did LE2/cam swap and while it is awesome it cost me a lot more than I had projected it too. Honestly if I had it to do again I'd work on my suspension and run the stock motor on nitrous for a while with some 3.73s out back and at least a 3200 stall. It's great to have power but I can't get it to the ground.

You're going to need a bigger stall when you go heads and cam. Many guys daily drive on 3600 with no complaints. Just get you a good one. I've always run Richmond gears. Don't really know a lot about the other brands.
