Ground circuit 97 trans am

Where is the ground circuit located on a 1997 firehawk trans am my car is running horrible and its throwing code P1361 and this literally happened over night no symptoms

There is no ground "circuit" per se. The ignition coil wiring is probably shorted to ground (any metal surface) or 12v+. Look for breaks in the wiring around the ICM and back to the PCM. If you're handy with a multimeter you should be able to find it pretty easily, if that is the problem.

Okay i just replaced the ICM just in case from one at the salvage yard and its still running the same so im guessing that it has to be a loose ground or its shorting out somewhere.

I have an MSD ignition coil and MSD optispark distibutor ive heard those things go out pretty easy, does this sound like something that would cause that?
