Default code 15 and horrible miss

Lets start off by saying I hate this car now and it has been nothing but trouble. Anyway the car is a 93 bone stock other than msd cap/rotor/wires. It idles horribly and smells of just raw fuel ( kills plugs after no time at all ). I know the code 15 has something to do with the coolant temperature sensor in the waterpump. I have switched it out with 3 other sensors ( 2 I had sitting around and 1 was new ) I got an ohm reading on them on the bench and they seemed fine. I reset the pcm and the car would run maybe 10 seconds with the light off and it'd come right back on. I have a known working 93 pcm that I swapped onto this car and same thing . Runs for like 10 seconds and the cel would trip again. I looked at the wiring and have the 5 volts at the plug with the key on . Could the plug be bad ? Anyone around Fort Washington , Md willing to give me a hand with it ?

Is the only code being thrown code 15?

Have you traced the wiring and checked for continuity at the PCM?

If the sensor is reading okay that usually indicates a fault in the wiring somewhere.

Yes I flashed the codes and put it on a scanner that's the only one that showed up. I followed a how to on shbox about testing the the wiring and it seemed ok . I'm going to look at it more in a bit and see if I've over looked something . EDIT have continuity on both of the wires that plug into the sensor .
