HOW CAN I BEAT A EVO ttt Therees a evo at my school and evryone whos raced im has got walked its bone stock wit stock boost i belive , i ran him and this guy put buses on me hes beaten a few ls1s to, hes stock becasue my freinds is one of his best freinds and told me hes got nothing, im getting a stage 2 trans from speedinc and a 2800 stall and maybe a 373, i have a cutout and msd only performance mods what should i get next that will make a difrence i know i will get spray but not right now and i wanna bet him na any help
why do you care if his car is faster than yours? hypothetically im gonna say you bought your car used for about a 1/3 of what this joker paid for his EVO new, so bang for the buck, you're ahead. id take him to the track and bracket race, see who's actually the better driver before i went and spent tons of money on my car just to beat him on the street

evos run in the 12's..... ive seen it, they are rediculiously fast from the factory, but thats all they got, the only option left for more speed is nitrous. I mean be honest, the bastards run 18 lbs of boost, there cant be much more to do.

In my opinion, if you really want to wipe the floor with him, go for a cam, stall, and nitrous. If your strapped on cash, just go with nitrous. He'll love your taillights.

Yep i got two friends with EVO's one with a manual boost controler and one with full exaust and electronic boost controler. Those things are fast...no doubt about it. Even though one just had to dump money into a clutch from doing to many dam AWD launches. It shouldnt take that much to beat them....the first guy my friend ever lost to (when it was stock) on the street was a SS LS1 with heads and cam. I would think with heads and cam you would be able to take him. And dont forget that most of their advantage is off the line with the dam AWD. from a rolling start you could murder him.
