battery relocation questions.

battery relocation questions. so i am wanting to move the battery to the trunk area. im doing it for the track and because i am absolutely tired of dealing with the crap side post batteries! all the corrosion and bs and the ridiculous stock battery mount was broken by the previous owner. so ive heard many different ways/methods/rules for doing this but i cant seem to find a true answer to my questions.
1. what are the rules for nhra and scca. sealed box or not? disconnect on the back of the car or not?
2 best place to put it? passenger rear to offset driver being in the front? or driver side close to normal vent and still retaining the spare tire.
3 list of materials after the above questions are answered.
