Default Finally sold it

I finally sold my car. 95 Trans Am with 130xxx miles, remanufactured engine, but the tires were completely shot, the A/C was shot, water pump was done, paint was faded on the nose and rear, carpet and driver seat were torn and a few other issues. I got $3600 for it. I was completely honest with the buyer and to be completely honest, I couldn't be happier to see it go. It gave me a new, expensive headache every other day. It's been fun, but I'm much happier being able to pay for school than I was with a horribly unreliable car. Thanks for all the good times everybody. Farewell.

To be totally honest, you should be thrilled you got that much for it. These things are not worth SQUAT anymore.

I wouldn't say that. I buy and sell used cars and lots of f body's. If they are nice clean cars there are people that will pay up if they are nice. In the last year I've sold 3 and got good money.

Maybe thats how it is in Kansas City, but here in DC metro area, the highest anyone asks for an LT1 is $3500, and I bet they only get between $2500 and $3000

i see some people try to sell lt1s around here, colorado springs, for like 6k with 130k miles and some wear and tear, all depends on the area i guess because back home in pa they normally sell 2-3k i got mine with 67k for 5500 which was high but it was the nicest one i could find at the time

Not worth squat if they have a boatload of miles on them usually. He got pretty good money in that condition tho. I paid more then I should of for my 95 but the thing has ran flawless for a couple years and was in great condition with only 70,000 miles on it.
