Name that noise! And fast! Top end?
Name that noise! And fast! Top end? Ok so havnt had any problems really with this car until out of the blue today. Never drive it and I was cruzing (normal driving) to work and I heard what sounded like a exhaust leak tapping by the fire wall. I said **** went to work and checked for a leak...nothing
Heard a tick while under hood so I adjusted the rockers real quick. Hoping all was good....nope same noise.
Pulled the cover and to make sure it wasn't hitting the rockers...noise still there, I'm out of ideas!
Here is a video of what I'm hearing! Please help if you have any ideas. I was planning on pulling the motor to start a lsx conversion so plans are on hold until this issue is resolved!

I've had the valve cover off multiple times listening lol. As it turns out those metal header gaskets make some funny noises when the blow out!
My first thought was exhaust leak but didn't find anything at first glance. Serves me right should of been more in depth instead of jumping to conclusions.
