I'm sorry but I might be gettig another camaro it's 1993 z28 I was just wondering if you can use the same heads cams an intakes for the original sbc's an also if I keep the fuel injection how to you tune these with no obdll port? Can you tune them with a timing light ?

 

Heads are not interchangeable without machine work.

Cams are only interchangeable from 87+ roller motors.

93s use OBDI speed density and need to have an EPROM chip burned to be tuned.

All ignition timing is controlled by the computer (ECM) so a timing light does not apply.

 

You could dump the fuel injection and go with a carb and then dump the ignition system and use a distributor then you would use a timing light.
