Exclamation Looking for headers!

I have a 96 ss camaro which is obdII car and i am looking for headers that have air and egr fittings and are emissions capable and also looking to get a catted y pipe as well. The only thing i can find are the kooks and i dont want to spend $1600.00 just for 15-20 horsepower. Any suggestions??

Looks like a GMMG catback in your sig, that cant be cheap....why are you skimping now? Kooks fitment are great, they are stainless steel. You get what you pay for.

There is Stainless Works also....

Yeah i know it but i just cant see 1600 dollars for 15 horsepower if you get where im coming from but looks like the right way to go is always the most expensive and how is the stainless works compared to kooks or pacesetter or any other name brand?

Since you should have a tune done after headers anyway, why not just delete those worthless "emissions" mods anyway? EGR and AIR were both deleted in the newer engines as they were just gimmicks.

I would definitely look at the pace setter stuff. It fits well just doesn't last forever because its not stainless. We sell both coated and non coated, I think we even have both in stock in a race style header.

Why are you so focused on smog stuff when you won't pass anyways after moving the cat location. I would check the classifieds though. Get good deals that way.

Stainless Works is top notch quality. If you give a damn of what your engine bay looks like you will not get Pacesetters. Coated or not coated, they rust and look like crap. They do however get the job done of what they are intended to do.

Ive found Kooks headers for 980ish if you search hard enuff Then you wont need to spend 400 bucks on mild steel headers every 3 or 4 yrs!!!! That AIR & EGR is Crap Delete it & if you must Get some high flow cats off ebay or somewhere!!! Stainless Ypipes arent too hard to find on ebay either!! LPP is supposed to have some headers in Nov... They dont have 3.5in collectors like the one Kooks or the no longer available OBX headers
