I thought that I got a good deal on my car. I paid $1,500 for mine (95 b4c) that had 110k on it with Cold air intake and cat-back, all leather, no dents or rust or clear coat problems, not even a cracked dash lol the paint was and still is in good condition, etc.. The only problem was that it needed a battery, and it needed a new hood which I already had one from a buddy and the guy said it wouldn't do anything when you turned the key to start it so I went out bought a battery and starter, he said he put a new starter in already (had recipt) so I put in the battery gave him the cash and went on my way. Lol so I think I got a pretty good deal.

Screaming deal if it's a real B4C. I bought my car for $2500, it came with two sets of ZR1's with tires and a spare 3.42 rearend. Granted the top half of the motor was in the trunk I didn't care. Refreshed the block, had the heads done, all new gaskets and 120k now. She holds 65+ psi oil cold and 40 hot at idle. Just needs a new opti now and sold the extra rims and rear. 95 z28 6 speed

The market is all over the place. You get people turning down 10k for a decently clean/fast lt1 and then you get people like ramair95ta that have a 10 second all motor lt1 that is asking like 9k and has been trying to sell for like a year...
I was happy to get $5k out of my bolt-on clean WS6 with 110k miles on it

WS6s seem to pull less than SSs though, at least around here.
Lt1 fbodies are far and few between around where I live. I dont think I have ever seen two in the same parking lot at the same time LOL. I dont think I have seen more then 4 fbodies (including mine) on the University of Albany campus.

Paid 3k for mine when I bought it September 2010. Its an M6 and has 134k on it at the time. Had some minor suspension mods, 3.73s, and an intake. Overall a pretty clean car. Dont even wanna think what I have into it now and how bad of a loss I would take if I sold it. Guess I gotta keep it and keep modding it 
This may be just me, but I wouldn't pay more than $10k for a bolt-on WS6 of any year with any mileage. I'd go MAX $12k on an 02 WS6. Sorry, love Fbodies, but they just aren't worth that much to me.

Now before I get flamed-I LOVE fbody's, so don't get me wrong. I'm not bashing anybody, there are some very nice cars out there and they obviously respond great to mods. Modded cars are in a whole different realm as well.
To me f-body's are "bang for the buck" cars, and always have been. When you start to get above the $10k range, there's better bang for the buck to be had. I just have a hard time justifying that kind of coin on a car when you can get a car that's 90% identical on the inside and underneath for 1/2 or a 1/4 of the price. Just my .02
Unless you want something with 75k+, you wouldn't find one...at least in the Northeast. I was lucky I finally convinced my father to sell me his SS. I looked for over a year for a decent, clean, low mileage one...anything decent was $15k+.

Less than 18k for your 30th anniversary 1997 SS? It might be worth that much in stock form, since they are somewhat of a collector's car. But yours is heavily modified, it's not worth anywhere near that now. Try...$10,000 tops? At this point it's just another clean and well modified LT1 car.
All these fbodies are crazy priced. People want way too much for these cars. I paid 4k for my my 01 b4c a4 bolt ons with 170k miles. I helped put another ls1 in it with unknown miles before I bought it though and dropped about 1k in parts to put it back together. If he had paid all parts price woulda been 5k.
Donor car had 200k miles, but we dont know if its original engine, it was dark inside but has awesome oil pressure. Doesnt burn much oil and runs strong. Interior needed a little work, headlights were cloudy, etc, it just needed a little TLC. Body was overall clean, just small stuff. It was a friends, we just tried to be fair with each other.
I did the trans and stall after the sale.

Only advantage to mine is it has no rust, panels are all straight and the interior is still in good shape with a brand new headliner. Paint is hideous. Still don't think I'd get more than 3K for it if I were to sell.
Nope think 3k would be the ceiling depending on mileage and m6 or a4
I paid 1,200 for mine (2yrs ago) took it to the track ran a 13.6 stock i was really happy then started to mod it . I know where a true 95 firebird formula is for 400.00 Body is excellent shape looked garage keeped needs engine , oh yeah new project !
