If you dont mind my asking, but what machine shop did you use? Yep, go with something like a 3:73 gear(once you get rid of that 10 bolt), at least a 3600 stall and a dyno tune. Mail order tunes can only do some much, and most of the time they are on the rich/safe side.

I used a machine shop called NAC race engines out of Chicago Ridge. It was a guy that my uncle knew but had never used. I had looked at Clayton Racing before that. I also looked at Speed Inc but I believe they outsource all of the machine work. Does anybody know who AC used? I was thinking that he had Speed Inc do it?

I thought he used either Clayton Racing or AES in the Chicago area. Id get ahold of Frasier @ AES, if you call them. I've heard nothing but top notch things, about them.

Where are you located?

Ok, what about Capital City machine in Springfield,IL? They did a Banshee engine for me and it turned out pretty good. They also just did a 346 LS' engine for a buddy of mine and so far so good with that setup. Its the shop that Tim Wilkerson owns.

Never heard of them but I do know who Tim Wilkerson is. I will look into it.
