Cruise control location??

Cruise control location?? Where is the cruise control located on the lt1 cars? I wanna remove it.. Anyone know what all has to be done to remove? As far as what to take off, lines, bolts etc... Thanks for any help!
cc I m pretty sure your cruise is located under the frame rail drivers side just forward of the wheel, basically inline w battery location...............as far as disconnecting it its pretty self explanitery cpl cable some bolts and no more cruise.
Wanna do me a wild favor, and when you remove it, document how the throttle cable control wire is routed and let me know. I am putting mine back in after a few years and haven't the slightest how the cable is routed. Much appreciated.

The cable on mine ran from the throttle body to the back of the motor and over the top of the brake booster and then it followed the fender well down between the motor and fender.. It was real easy.. Hope that helps!
