Kind of thinking about sending the intake off for port job and buying a bigger throttle body. Both are stock on the car now. I'm not sure if its worth the investment or not ?
A twin 58mm throttle body and a fully ported intake manifold will run you between $400-$450. It's worth it.

At your power level i would just leave the intake and tb alone. I would spend my $ on a bigger cam.

I feel the monoblade is overkill. I'll be gunning for 9's on my setup and Lloyd recommended using the twin 58mm. A monoblade is DOUBLE the price of a brand new 58mm.

I agree with moving to a bigger cam, but he needs a bigger TB too. He has a 10 second car with a bone stock 48mm throttle body on it, LOL. He would definitely benefit.

It's just a .30 stock rebuild short block if I dig in to it all I'm going all the way.

I understand that. I wouldnt spend any $ on the intake porting tho. Id port the intake when you do the heads. That way they match. If you do buy a tb id just do a 58.

Thats with spray tho. If i aint mistaking the stock tb us good to like 500+ fwhp. I could be wrong tho lol.

The cars back together I lock tited the crap out the the poli lock.
Shooting for 10's next Saturday. I may order a throttle body. Ill need it eventually anyway. Any brands recommended ?
