How to simple upgrade for LS1 BOLT ONS.

Question How to simple upgrade for LS1 BOLT ONS.

I bought a LS1 long block. Please where can I find build sheet specs and what is compatible. I want to but a used Throttle body and intake and injectors and cam. I also want to be able to make up my mind on what route to take. There must be a place were someone has already done this. A web page? Please help new to LS engines and want to find best deal to do my budget build. NO turbos or Superchares. I also will need a wiring harnest. I am going to put this in my 1989 C1500 Silverado with a factor 5 speed. I really maybe needd to know step by step HOW TO. SOrry to be so dumb.

First go to the LS1 section This is LT1 section. A much better motor than the LS

What casting # is on the heads? Or better yet, take a picture of it and post it here. I'll try to help as i've owned 6 LS and 3 LT based cars in the last 13 years.

Howdy, I'm doing a 1990 SWB step side truck with the 6.0 litre, after reading for what seemed to be days the best thing I came up with was find a donor car, there are lots of pages tha list what your motor specs out at, simple google search, is this a new block or junk yard motor? The easies is to find an old truck like a 99-02 that still has cable drive throttle and use the ECM, wiring Harness and other odds and ends. There's more 5.3 conversion and there is one really good post on here for what were doing it showed the set back plates for the motor mounts and a flex plate adapter, a spot where the manifold down pipe had to have some fabrication but in the end awesom product and u can make some big power with small parts. The build I'm thinking about was done on a suburban. Let me know how it goes eh? Wayde from Canada

1980 small block GMC was a 3 n the tree straight 6

1989 Mustang GT (my winter beater, man was that kid and all the other strangers pissed seeing snow tires on a 5.0)

2001 Dodge Stratus R/T base off the Mitzibushi eclipse 3.0 v6 car not a bad car with a dodge badge hard to find parts for.
2011 Escape
2006 F7 Tony Stewart edition sled
1989 Civic Si - 2nd race car -oval track
1992 VW Jetta - 1st race car banned from the track for being too fast for the entry level group (now c'mon it's an 86 hp motor in a 4 door how fast can it go? )
Ill remember more as times passes but those were the fun ones
