Default Need a Nitrous Cam

Ive got bolt ons and a 100 shot and I want a cam now. Problem is I don't know much about them. Can anybody help me out on what size I should go with?

I'm in need of a nitrous cam as well but I don't know which one to get either. I'm in the right direction but need a definite choice. I don't think a cam with a 100 shot is really necessary. When you get up beyond 150 or so then I would think about a nitrous cam. My personal preference would be to get a cam with a set of ported heads, instead of just the cam. A nitrous cam will have at least a 114 LSA, less intake duration and lots of lift (so the nitrous doesn't bleed off). You'll want more exhaust duration to get that stuff outta there. Crane told me go 10 degrees seperation on the duration. Someone on here gave me this list the other day, lost of good cams:

I second that. For a small shot that would be ideal. Plenty of duration on the exhaust side.

Another cam you might want to check out is a Comp 224/236/112.

There are probably some around here, but most of us have moved to more radicals cams like the Comp 306 or the GM 847

Its old faithfull, been around for years. Makes good power, responds well to motor and gas. The 306 just offers solid results, its tried and true. I have had a many friends with that cam that their cars just ran good. Plus the 306 has gotta be one of the best sounding LT1 cams ever. There's a guy at thunder running one in his sb2.2 headed car, sounded wicked as hell.
