tunercat comm port

tunercat comm port When trying to connect my aldl cable to my usb the entire comm port list says invalid port. I have installed the usb drivers and aldl drivers. Tunercat is a pain in the ***. Ive used lt1 edit, hp tuners, and tunerpro rt with ease and no problems.

Plug the cable into your laptop, do not hook up to the car.
Go to Start > Control Panel > Device Manager under USB see if anything has a Yellow exclamation point.
If it does, right click on it, hit update drivers, then hit browse, guide it to your CD drive D:\ then let it scan the CD.
Then go in TunerCats and hit Options > Com Port Selection > Scroll through and find the port.

I think hes reffering to the cable software. I had a bunch of problems first getting mine started. It was a certain option i had to go trhough with the software. Also when in tunercats try the different com ports as mine wouldnt run on the first selected one.
