Default Aldl usb cable HELP!

I have a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula and the ses light is on (again) so I bought this cable to read error codes:

http://www.reddevilriver.com/aldl.html

It comes with tunerpro RT

I have gotten the drivers and everything installed and I get some data but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get ses error codes.

Am I missing something or is there better software?

Please help!

That is tuning software, right? Not scan software? Two different things. Best OB1 LT1 scan software is Datamaster, by far.
