hands down sexiest exhaust for the LT1s
I have to admit it, that sounds absolutely badass! I would love to know what that sounds like with 500 at the crank, LT's, and an x-pipe. I'm sure loud as ****. My SLP TOTL with a Magnaflow is pretty loud though.

the SLP LM2 (loudmouth 2) on a completely stock car sounds amazing honestly. got mine for 100 used, and had a new pipe bent for 50 to make it fit a tad better.
Here is my car with the SLP LM2

Are the Mufflex exhausts stainless steel? Who carries them? Hawks 3rd Gen? I see them on that website, but it doesn't say whether they are stainless or aluminized.

Thank you I have a link to a guy who has GMMG with LTs and an ORY... it sounds amazing. I can't wait lol (at work no youtube)

To the OP... If you wanna save extra $$, GMMG will turn heads. Its nice and smooth when cruising and awesome when you floor it. Not raspy, not a headache. perfect

i haven't heard a gmmg in person yet but they sound great in videos, at this point if i was to change exhaust again i'd probably fab up some sort of true duals, slp is a great exhaust system for the price, good performance gains, great sound, and i loved the 4 inch tips i got with mine, although i think theyd look even better on a trans am rear bumper

I went and listened to a GMMG exhaust before buying it. I almost went with the SLP 2OTL, but I'm not a big fan of the look. I never heard one in person, but they sound good in clips. Somebody had a new one for sale on EBay when I was looking for an exhaust. I came that close to buying it, but went with GMMG instead. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the GMMG oval tips. I much prefer the round, slash cut tips included with the exhaust.

I have probably heard this clip 100 times and it's still one of my favorites. I love the way this car sounds.

The SLP LM sounds like a truck when your just cruising around town...but damn when you're in it it sounds like a race car.

Tough to decide but on a trans am...with looks and sound in mind...it doesn't get better than Borla. On camaro's and Formula's though the GMMG with the oval tips is where it's at.

borla is an overpriced cut-out, IMO...

+1 on a used GMMG catback. Its guaranteed to make your winkle twinkle

If not just get true duals, but then again you have a completely opposite taste than me if you think a lt1 exhaust note is weak. Better than any stock-cam ls1 ive heard.

slp loudmouth 1 or 2 either or there both pretty loud and a great price even knew, i had the borla when i first got the car, i really digged it at first because i went from my first car, a ford escort, to my z28 and the sound was a deeper tone but not to loud, the tips killed it for me though, borla tips are some ugly sin on a car. and i agree about the cut out its over priced for what you get.... when i got my slp though, its was like love at first sight, sound wise was amazing too, at that point the borla wasn't even on my car i was just running dumped right after the cat, and the slp made it sound so great...

I personally can't stand my SLP LM1, it's okay if I haven't driven my car for awhile but then it just get's annoying. I can't just cruise around with a mild exhaust note because it doesn't have one. It's way to loud IMO. It does sound good at WOT but it also attracts more attention from the popo than I need. I want something that's mild at idle and loud when I nail the gas. The hooker and magnaflow system does that well.

This is all my opinion but I like some tone in my exhaust not just "HEY LOOK AT ME I HAVE A LOUD *** CAR".

I'm not sure I've ever heard the SLP Loudmouth, but aren't they known for just being..........loud? It seems like a lot of people are always complaining about them, or messing with them to adjust the sound by adding resonators, mufflers etc. I guess the LM2 is a bit more tame?

i love the loud haha, but then again i no longer daily my car, and its rather reasonable inside my car, outside the car thing sounds like a race car though and i love it, but each to there own, i have thought about quiteing it down just because i don't want to draw so much attention to myself but im just kind of opted against it...

just an idle video but you can hear how loud it is with longtube ory and slp loudmouth, can't even hear my buddys mustang 5.0 with shorties offroad h with both just at an idle.... so i agree its pretty loud but seems really tame in the cockpit, i could still have conversations and listen to my radio(which is just the sub now.... uhg) but its all preferance
