running a SBC under Fully Functional EFI
I have been contacted by a couple of members concerning my LT1 powered truck. their questioning about putting a SBC under the EFI control. first off Yes It can be done. second Has it been done? Not yet, but yes, not yet using OBDII, but yes to the OBD1 ECU's, I hope to fix the OBDII problem. if there is any one else thinking about this chime in.
with the discovery of the '411 and the ease of adapting it, we can easily put EFI on any 4,6,8 cylinder engine. all we have to do is feed it the right signals, and it will output what we need to Git-R-Done. The unknown is the crank and cam timing signals. as a fabricator these will take just a little time on some applications. the rest is a walk in the park, if you are a little wiring savy.
the biggest obsticle is going to be you the builder, and wheather you buy into the HP pipe dream. horse power is upper RPM, touque is what you and I use everyday.
If more intrist I will continue this thread

I've built many harnesses for this application since that time.
To learn more about using the 12200411 PCM for 4.3L V6, SBC, LT1, and BBC engines, you can read my book. It will be released August 2013. Available for pre-sale at Amazon .
