How big of a stall?

How big of a stall? My girlfriend might be getting an LT1 Camaro Z28 very soon and I was of course wanting to modify it. I know that the LT1's have a lower peak torque than an LS1 so what rpm range should I go with when I choose a converter? I was thinking along the lines of a Vigilante 2800. Thanx for any input.

2800 stall is great for a DD and street/strip car alike... you can't go wrong with the 2800, it's just a matter of if your using it as a weekend car or a DD. There's no better stall speed for a DD LT1 than a 2800, IMO.
