Backfiring quick question

Backfiring quick question So my LT1 backfires when you let off the throttle at 3k+ RPM, at least in park (I haven't driven it yet). What could be a possible cause? I hope my opti isn't showing bad signs... Other than that it runs good, no misfires.
backfires how? if it pops through the exuast when your off the throttle depending on the exhaust system it may be normal, im not really sure on the exhausts on the lt's but my LS2 gto pops quite a bit when backing off the throttle, I think it sounds kinda cool lol
my car use to back fire pretty good with my slp exhaust while the rest of the car was stock.... sounds pretty normal to me... take it for a drive when the weather gets nice and see how it drives if its misfiring and backfiring and running like a straight turd then you might have a problem
