Question Help picking a good off the shelf cam

So Im pretty much done buying all the parts for my 383 build and Im down to picking a cam..Im currently thinking about buying a cc503 off of someone, mainly because it has a pretty good power band and is very streetable..But I thought I'd ask you guys for some opinions..I want something that is streetable, but will still make some mean power with my setup..My car isnt a DD but it's out frequently in the summer..I was considering a cc306 but I've heard the power really only comes in up top and its not too streetable..

Specs of my heads..
60cc combustion chambers
205cc intake
70cc exhaust

2.02 intake valves/1.60 exhaust

I have springs good up to .600 lift, and 1.6 pro mags NSA..

Thoughts?

Everything about powerband pertaining to a 350 will not translate over to the 383.
The 306 in a 383 will act much differently than in a smaller cube motor. The 503 IMO is too small unless it's just a complete driver, meaning that you dont plan on going fast.(in a 383)

It is if it's geared correctly.

You can do better than that. There's a number of board sponsored vendors who you could contact who will get you what you need.

A Lloyd Elliot cam spec'd for your set up would cost the same as a new cc306 cam and be way more efficient for what you want. Why not do that?

lmao its just a twin 58mm bbk..i mean two 58mm holes do equal 116mm lol..i just put that to sound cool tbh lol

And thanks for the cam offer, but thats a little too small for what Im looking for..Also guys how much do LE's custom grinds usually run? Im actually looking at getting a Lunati Voodoo 60122..The asymmetrical lobes of the Voodoo line are niiice.

With all due respect, two 58mm holes do not equal one 116mm hole in area and air flow.

to find the area of a circle:

area = pi times radius squared.

(pi)(29^2) = 2642mm^2 area for one 58mm bore, 5284mm^2 area for two 58mm bores.

to find the diameter of one circle with an area of 5284mm^2:

((square root of (area/pi)) times 2 = diameter

((square root of (5284/pi)) times 2 = 82mm diameter

Therefore, a twin 58mm throttle body will flow about the equivalent of an 82mm single bore throttle body.
