LT1 in mustang cooling

LT1 in mustang cooling Looking for some help here hopefully. Anyway I took the LT1 out of my DD impala to put in my caged up mustang that has been waiting for a motor. Anyway figured this would be the cheapest route for right now. Motor and trans are in, just need help with cooling system. Got a Griffin radiator for it cheap, only problem is that radiator is opposite of GM as far as where the upper and lower hoses go. I'm running an electric water pump, so flow would be going opposite.
I was also hoping I can just tap into the radiator and run the steam pipe into it? Or would I have to do it another way.
Also if the radiator will work or if I will have to run a GM style radiator
