We've all made stupid mistakes, don't take it too hard. I flipped out and posted a huge thread about a misfire and found a plug wire cut in half by my serp belt once.

As far as the misfire, how hot did you get it? Go over all your plug connections and make sure they are clicked tight, on the opti and plugs. Also check your opti harness, and coil to opti plug.

Even though this was not the problem doing this is not the right way. You open both screws coolant will escape through the lower bleeder screw since there is not enough pressure to push coolant up through the heater hose (where the other bleeder screw is and will keep letting air in through the top bleeder screw. Proper way is to open the lower bleeder screw, let the air out completely, close it and then open the top/heater hose bleeder screw.

Damn dude chill with the RTV . All that extra that squishes into the port will break off and clog up your radiator and heater core.

Small bead, let it skin over, then install .

... or no sealant at all. Gaskets are good enough to seal.

Did you get your headgasket problem straightened out? How did that go? Who did the work for you? Have you paid them yet even though they gave you your car back? Man up and do the right thing. Karma is a bitch.
