LT1 shifter question

LT1 shifter question I seem to get better responses in this section than in the chassis and accessory sections, so here goes. Switching my interior to black. 94 TA auto. Will the LS style center console and shifter plate work in my LT car? Does the shifter line up with the plate correctly? Thanks guys!

I'm no expert, but eyeballing what I've seen, the shifter plate should fit, but I think there might be some differences in the center console (maybe I'm wrong)

I think the mounting bracket is different in the front my 96 TA had mounting tabs in the very front of the console whereas the 97-02 have mounting screws on each side of the console.. they all have 1 screw under the shifter plate and 2 more under the armrest all 5 are 10mm
