I helping a friend finish up his 24X conversion and the tuner needs to do a Crank Relearn on the PCM to get the crank to match up to the injectors.

HP Tuners will not say "Ready to Relearn"... On LS1 cars is requires a specific coolant temp, the hand brake to be set, and above a certain rpm.. I'm pretty sure he did not tie the emergency brake into the ls1 pcm wiring. The car starts and runs, the coolant temp works, but no E-Brake signal.

Does anyone know how to get a 24X LT1 to perform a Crank Relearn, with HP Tuners?

 

I am not sure with HPTuners. When i had to do mine i brought it to my mechanic and plugged his scanner into it. It detected the code and asked if i wanted to do the relearn. Hit yes and floored it until the fuel cut off. After that it was done.

 

Are you scanning while trying to do this? I'm pretty sure you have to be " connected" but not scanning. I'm fairly sure I ran into this problem as well with my 24x swap
