You would probably be better off rebuilding the one you have. Find a reputable shop, take them yours for a rebuild. If you dont have a core to start with, may have to pick a junker up from the junk yards to have built. Thats what Ive always done.

Id still suggest finding a reputable shop and asking for the cost to rebuild one. That 3k trans mentioned above has to be a full race setup, couldnt imagine a stock rebuild would cost that. Im an automatic guy so not 100% sure. Hit up the MD local section here on tech and ask around. Good luck man.

I rebuilt my T-56 I will tell you that the parts get real expensive if you have to replace more than just the consumables. I lost the ability to shift from 6-5 but could go 4-5, cost me around 550-600 for the replacement parts and wear items, I put regular keys back into it since the "upgraded" junk just failed all the same.
