Wish we had 94 around here. 91 is all we can find around here. Hard to find non-E10. Straight gas runs about a dime more when we can find a station selling it. That E10 crap hurts mileage too. Only a good deal for corn farmers. Drives up food prices too. Burning food for fuel is a dumb-assed deal.
I don't use knock retard to determine optimum timing. If you add timing, with no retard, and it doesn't make more power take it back out.

Something some may not think about is advancing the camshaft moves your timing also. The scan tool & PCM can only assume the cam dowel pin is in straight up. Off set bushings and the 4 degree adv & retard key ways in the crank gear also move the Optispark.

that would certainly apply if mechanically advancing the cam, most of us order the cam with the advance ground in.

Yeah its pretty sweet! Petro Canada is the only station that sells it (they are all over the place) they have 87, 89, 91 and 94. 91 and 94 have no ethanol added. but we pay for it. its usually around 1.40 a litre which i think is around 5.20 a gallon or so. lucky i dont daily drive my car and i work for hydro so i can afford it lol

ethanol corn crap is the dumpest idea ever agreed :/

I used the knock sensor to tune out knock retard, when I hit 0 retard or close to it i left her alone until I can get on a dyno again. Stock she put out 272whp and 306wtrq so hopes are high to break 300whp with headers, intake, tune and free mods!
