Throttle body cable? need help

Okay heres the deal... Theres two cables thats attached to my throttle body. Ones for the throttle and whats the outer one for?? Is it cruise control?? Its the cable that is attached on the outside with a black little clip?? I beleive it the cruise control but not 100% sure. my other question is can I just unclip it from the throttle body? I dont use cruise control its keep my throttle body open from hitting the stop screw... JUst want to make sure its the cruise control cable ----- once again its on the outside of the throttle body... drivers side

Yes, it is the cruise control cable. It can be removed. Slide forward to disengage after you open the blades a little for some slack.
