Default Any 93-94 owners with vented optis?

Ive been working with my friend on his 93 TransAm lately, getting his car back together.
He has a 95 shortblock/heads with his 93 intake.

heres the new ordeal: We need to hook up the vacuum harness to the newer style intake. Well, the harness connects to the intake tube and a vacuum port on the intake. I figure we can get away with just running it to either the intake like a stock 95+ or the TB, using vacuum tubing and some filters similiar to the GM harness.
Sound like it would work?

Also, we have get an updated electrical harness. The 4 prong plug on the 95+, goes deeper into the opti's than the earlier versions.
This should be a direct plug-in, right?

thanks guys

The harness is a direct plug-in. Look around on CZ28.com's parts for sale section. You can pick up a 95-97 harness cheap (I got mine for $15). Connect the OPTI vacuum tube to where the EGR tube used to go (yes, get rid of the egr crap). If you dont, then just get a vacuum tee, put the opti vac on one side of the T and the EGR on the other. Drill a 1/8 inch hole in the elbow and push the intake tube for the opti through. It should be snug enough to where it wont let go.
