Motor Mounts?
Motor Mounts? Hey guys, I posted not too long ago about an rpm based vibration that I was having that worsened with the ac on. My accessory bracket even snapped in half. Pretty sure I found what the problem was. I was crawling around under the car today and noticed that one of the bolts on the drivers side motor mount wasn't even hand tight. My question is.. how tight should they be? This is one area that I'm lost in the sauce on.

The bolt that I'm talking about. It's the long one that goes through the mount.
I'm probably gonna end up replacing both mounts, just have to figure out when to tackle that.

I agree. As much as I try to use a torque wrench whenever possible, there are some fasteners that you can't easily reach, or exact torque isn't all that critical. I think the motor mount bolts are one of those fasteners. I give mine a short hit with the impact also.
