Default New racetronix pump not working.

This is the last step before starting my h/c set up, but I ran into a snag. I have a new racetronix 255 w/ wiring harness, but it will not turn on. The kit is new (by new I mean I bought it a couple years ago and it sat in its package on a shelf in my garage)

I think I have it installed correctly, but maybe not. I have pictures of everything, maybe you guys can point me in the right direction.

Check out the fuse in the hotwire kit....I had the same issue when I installed my Racetronix pump. After an hour of fiddling decided to check that fuse, and sure enough it had burned up immediately Put a new one in, and it started right up!

I think I know what I did not do. Fuse was fine.

In the second picture it looks like the connector that looks like it needs to be connected into the system. I just found the instructions on the racetronix support website. Let me try this again.

Hmm, it still doesn't add up. Did they change their wiring harness? I bought this pump about 4 years ago, and the wiring harness does not look like what they have pictured on the racetronix website.

Check your powers and grounds. Then have someone turn the key and see if you are getting power to the pump. Then drink beer.

Have you asked a tech in our support forum for help?

I had a intermittent problem with the pump not kicking on after i installed my hotwire kit and pump. My problem ended up being not getting a good connection with the wiring at the bulkhead when i installed the hot wire setup. Check all the wiring out there. I bet that is where your problem lies.

I have not. At the time of making this, I was waiting to be approved to post on the tech forum.

I posted in the racetronix forum. Just waiting for some feedback. It almost appears like my kit is different than the ones the have in the instructions. I'm at a loss right now.

It is the previous style wiring harness, I just confirmed it with the invoice March 15 2005, right before they changed it. I emailed tech support on racetronix, and made a post there. Hopefully someone there or here can help me out with this. Just playing the waiting game.

I should mention the pump works without the hotwire kit.
