Swapping a 94 lt1 into a 93Z28
I just picked up a complete(although hideous) 94z28 as a donor. The car has a running stock as a rock LT1. I was planning on swapping it and all the associated wiring into my 93Z while i save up funds to rebuild my 383. I'm assuming since the car is complete i can just swap over the 94 LT1, wiring and PCM into the 93 without any trouble. Any speed bumps i should be worried about?

do you want the wiring and pcm swap?
There is no need to do that though the 94-5 system is easier to work with though I think the 93 can rev higher.
The biggest "mechanical" hassle is the intake manifold/fuel rail difference, the 93 intake maybe has a miniscule edge, but the 94 fuel rail is better and they wont work together.

The 93 wiring and ecu were having major issues with the previous setup. The eeprom had been modified and that's why I originally started gathering the 24x parts. I was mainly hoping to slam all the 94 stuff in the 93 and have my car back. Its been 2 yrs since it was something I could just hop in and drive without worrying about it stalling and not restarting. It will also be a while till I'll have the necessary funds to send the 383 into the machine shop. So this was what seemed like the best option to have my car back. Thanks for all the replies 96capricemgr

I say go for it, be aware that the plugs from the engine harness to the cars harness under the dash and on the pass side fender well will all clip together, but a few wires will not line up. Swap those wires around and youre golden. Get a set of diagrams for both years and go through it with a comb!
