Default non-vented opti to vented opti

I been reading of this conversion for the past 2 days, the only part I don't get is about the little pocket (hole) of the cam. I have a roller comp cam and if the hole is the smaller one I won't be able to do the conversion right?
Thanks guys.

You could just pick up an MSD cap and rotor. It turns a nonvented opti into a vented one. Magic!

Most (or all) aftermarket cams for the LT1 have the large hole, so they will fit every year. If you have the cam number, call Comp with it and verify.

Stronger chain, since the nonvented set up you dont really have options on stronger chains.
