oxygen sensors and longtube headers After I installed long tube headers I experienced a part throttle stumble and horrible gas mileage. I changed the o2s and the problem got a little better but was still present. I then installed some rear AC Delco o2 sensors from a C5 Corvette (same as late model Grand Am, Olds Alero, and Malibu of the same years) my problem was solved! Because of the higher wattage heaters built up in them the o2s were able to heat up more to function properly. Then with the rear o2s you don't need extentions so that's also a plus. If you have the flat style connectors you will need to covert the C5 o2's as they are the square style. I hope this helps out some folks with similar issues..
