Need a 1996 wiring harness, does if have to be a 1996 ? I'm in need of a 1996 wiring harness for a friends Z28. His computer is fine so he just needs the harness. I need to know if we need to be looking for 1996 specific harness for it to work for his car ?

In 96 they changed to OBD2 so it has 2 more oxygen sensors and a crankshaft position sensor thats not on the earlier cars. I believe 96 and 97 would be the same.
