Update on my 30th SS
Update on my 30th SS For those that didn't follow my 30th SS threw a rod 1/8th mile down the road after having Longtubes and a new Opti installed by Tick Performance and then delivered via transport to my wife last December. (I was in Afghanistan).
We were not prepared and therefore built a mostly stock LT1 over the last few months so to get this rare and good looking Fbody back on the road. She has just over 500 miles on the new 355 and layed down 296/325 with mods being a 218/218 116 LSA cam and Kooks LTs with Cats through the SLP exhaust. Everything else is stock. HP peaked at 5300 RPM.
In a few weeks I will ship her over to Germany and finish restoring the interior and completing general maintenance/bolt ons in prep for next summers cruise/car show outings. We have yet to see a 30th in Europe. Thanks to all for the advice and to Dennis from Redline Fab in Daytona, FLA for fixing some things up.
