Default need help finding out about my car

hi guy's I have been lurking for a while. Just wonder if any one can shed some light on this topic
I have 1993 z28 camaro with a sticker under the hood that says chevrolet Police package and has a badge with 9c1 in it the motor has what looks like factory coated shorty headers. The interior is all leather including steering wheel and shifter. All of the switch and gadge cluster are yellow. The dash has a big z28 emblem on it
I didn't think that leather was an option in 1993 and I have not seen any other camaro that looks like my 93 any help would be great.

I have no idea, but it seems to me most of that is aftermarket. The lights can be bought to be that color, the seats don't match. I've seen that Z28 sticker somewhere for sale before. So to me it seems like you have a Camaro that someone added some really cool mods to. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Well, I'm no genius but I BELIEVE the '9C1' was a police package that was on the Impala, Caprice, Tahoe, Malibu, Nova, and Celebrity. On the Camaro, it was called the 'B4C' package. The yellow lights on the dash and transmission lights are standard on the 1993 Camaro. The z28 emblem on the dash looks like someone had taken it off another z28 or bought a new one and put it on there. The sticker under the hood doesn't look like it was taken from another vehicle because of its condition but could have been bought elsewhere and installed.
The only way to tell if it was an original police package is to look at the RPO codes. Some cars have the sticker in the glove box and some have them on the door. Look for the code 'B4C' on there. If you do not find it, it's just a clone. I could be wrong, but my gut feeling is strong here.

The 9C1 designation is bogus, since it was used on different models like Bow Tie Power said. B4C would be the correct special service package designation for your car.

Look at it this way...it really is "one of a kind", since it has a compilation of stuff on it like no other.

I guess your right. At least the stuff looks good and runs very good. And its not some junk stick on crome or something like that. I think the motor was a fresh one because it had a intake gasket leak when I bought the car and the pistons looked new and shiney no carbon on them and they were dished . And it has full deletes and a tune the rev. Limiter is a 6500 rpm. I have to wonder what else this thing Has hidden in it.

yeah the dash has just a normal z28 badge stuck on, sticker was added, seats are from trans am. Seems like a car that someone tryed to keep up with and make it unique in their own image, but now its your and you have to chance to change it to your image. Enjoy it!
