Fuel System Upgrades
Trying to learn what HP is good for what injectors and when do you need to upgrade the fuel pump system, I guess at what point do you have to upgrade the stock fuel lines? Say the car will make 525 HP at the crank and its NA, what injectors would be sized to that HP or is it determined by what your heads flow/size/intake? And how much is the stock pumps good for?
Thanks!
Thanks!

[Injector Size] [N/A peak HP] [Supercharged peak HP] [Turbo peak HP]
24 lb/hr 346 288 276
36 lb/hr 518 432 415
42 lb/hr 605 504 484
60 lb/hr 864 720 691
I found this chart F.A.S.T. put out when I was doing some window shopping. As for the fuel I'm not sure when you need to change out the stock with a better one. I did it when mine failed. The lines I'm not sure if they need to be changed, I don't think so, maybe someone else will chime in on that one.
I hope you can make sense of the chart, it wasn't a picture so I tried to duplicate it through typing.

You don't have to upgrade the fuel lines for a LONG time. I made 767 RWHP with my turbo setup on factory lines with twin in-tank pumps, AFPR, and 84# injectors. No pressure drop at all.

To me it don't matter if its a day old or 20 years, I understand with age comes the very good chance of failure and less flow rating. But I'm just trying to learn what type of HP the factory fuel system is good for and curious at what HP range people start changing the factory pump for a high volume pump.
