o2 sensor question

o2 sensor question If I have a single exhaust system Y pipe, into a single cat all I should need is ONE sensor AFTER the cat. Correct? The factory had two of course but there were 2 pipes, 2 cats.

If you're still using the same computer, it will expect input from two sensors. You'll need a simulator or reprogramming to sort it out.
Do yourself (and anyone that you expect a reply from) a favor and put some kind of car info in a signature, so people don't have to guess what you are working on.

There needs to be one sensor for each bank in front of the cat in each side's separate exhaust stream because the fueling is adjusted per bank.
After the cat is just an emissions tattle tail thing ha no bearing on performance or drivability. If you want to keep them for inspection purposes that should be a problem because you changed the CAT arrangement. If emissions inspection are not a concern they can be tuned out of the computer.
