Power steering

I'm in the middle of installing an LT1 into a 75 Vette, and wondering if I really need the power steering fluid cooler that I took out of the 93 vette that I got my engine from. What do you think?

No. F-bodys don't have them, so as long as you aren't going to road race the **** out of that car you will be fine.

Fbody power steering pumps suck, coolers come with them for that reason. I would and do use them. I autoX but I used it before because the pumps, especially the ls1 pumps, over heat quickly
