Default P0507 Idle air code

Hi I recently put a new torque converter in my car and after do this I have code P0507 in my 96 z28. I check for vacuum lecks and hook it put to my scanner witch lets me do command's. I command the idle up and down it work fine beside it wont idle below 700 in park when I command it to 500. the car runs fine beside it will hang up at 1500 rpm when stopping or costing. the only other issue is after the converter was put in it goes in and out of lock up. looking at it with my scan too when it is out it is getting the command to be out but it shouldn't. I don't know if these are related but any help will be nice. Thank you

If you have really low IAC counts, you likely have a vacuum leak.

What are your IAC counts? What do they do when you manipulate the idle speed?

I just set the throttle blade set screw at a 1/4 turn. the counts are 0 in gear and sometime 10 out of gear and sometimes 0. I capped off all vacuum lines and they stay the same. when I command the idle up the counts do go up. there are two things that caught my eye. one is I could blow through the pcv valve when I thought you shouldn't be able to so I brought a new one and it does the same thing. Next is I backed the throttle set screw all the way off and took the throttle body off the car. I put water into the opening to see if it was leaking a lot it wasn't but the throttle linkage shaft was poor it out the bushings on both sides. I put it back on the car and while it was running sprayed it with brake clean all around the bushings in the throttle body nothing happened indicating no leek so now I am stuck a gain. sorry for the long post and thanks for the help.

If your IAC's are at zero that is an indication of getting to much air. You need to close the throttle blade some or you have a vacuum leak.
