Default Project: Underdog

Picked up a 1994 Pontiac Formula a while back to use as a daily driver.

That lasted for a few months before my driving habits changed enough that I didn't need a beater anymore to keep the miles off my other cars. So I have decided to build a little "street" car to sneak up on the unsuspecting at the local drag strips.

Goals:
1) civil enough to pick up kids from school
2) 9 second timeslips

How I plan to meet those goals:
396cid, Ross Pistons, Eagle crank/rods
Hand Ported AFR 227s
LT4 Intake
T&D Shaftmounts
258/268 .6xx/.6xx 11x lsa Solid Roller

Goebel 4L60e
Vigilante 3800
Moser 12 bolt 3:73s
All the usual tubular/adjustable suspension parts.

Nitrous Outlet LTx Plate system w/dedicated fuel system.

The project is nearing completion and should be making its first passes by spring.

Motor sounds sick, should be good for 650 flywheel - and with some spray on top of that you should have 9s in the bag!

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Sounds like a solid build. You get rid of the white formula?
