so yesturday b4 i put my car away for winter months i was driving it and i couldnt press down on the pedal

it seems to only be pressing down and moving at best a quarter the way open and then it feels like the cable is just being pulled on

i checked the throttle body and its opening all the way by hand and the cables dont seem to be binding anywhere.....

any input or simular problems and solutions

96 lt1 a4 with traction control

 

Anyone have any input or suggestions... Not sure if it may have to do with my traction control or what it could be but would like some ideas for when I start working in it again at where to attack first

 

remove cruise control cable from TB and see if it still sticks

don't know how 'traction control" works but if you feel it may be the cause, pull fuse/disconnect it and see if that resolves
